VPMINS - VPM INSTALL:VPMINS
We have been tasked to migrate our VAIM Servers from Windows 2008 to Windows 2012.
We would like assistance in determining the correct path to take to migrate the VAIM Domain Server.
Backup aom2 and dpm databases from VAIM SQL Server and then remove these databases from SQL Server.
Backup the C:\ProgramData\CA\SM folder.
Install VAIM on new SQL2012 Server using SAME Hostname (mandatory) and IP Address (recommended).
VAIM will create empty aom2 and dpm databases on SQL Server during installation.
After installation stop all VAIM Services and restore both aom2 and dpm databases to SQL.
Restore Backup C:\ProgramData\CA\SM folder.
Start VAIM Services.
