Introduction:

Currently, the 10.x Power Pack for Webservers requires the availability of two WMI classes to run the PublishIISStats.vbs script which generates web server metrics. These classes, Win32_PerfFormattedData_InetInfo_InternetInformationServicesGlobal and Win32_PerfFormattedData_W3SVC_WebService are automatically available in the default configurations of IIS 6.0 and 7.0. However, in IIS 7.5, these classes need manual configuration to be made available.

Environment:
Any supported APM PowerPack for Webservers version monitoring IIS.
Instructions:

To expose Win32_PerfFormattedData_InetInfo_InternetInformationServicesGlobal and Win32_PerfFormattedData_W3SVC_WebService IIS 7.5, do the following:

      1. Launch ServerManager
      2. Expand Roles, then Webserver (IIS)
      3. Click Actions, Add Role Services
      4. Locate IIS 6 Management Compatibility and select the following:

          a. IIS6 Metabase Compatibility
          b. IIS6 WMI Compatibility
          c. IIS6 Scripting tools
          d. IIS6 Management Console

After installing these, the Power Pack for Web Servers should now work with IIS 7.5.  Do note, installing the Power Pack for Webservers requires additional configuration as explained here: https://docops.ca.com/ca-apm/10-5/en/extending/web-server-monitoring/installing-and-configuring-ca-apm-for-web-servers/
