Introduction:

How can I present a static HMTL file stored on our UMP server as the target of a WebContent portlet?  The portlet seems to require a www.mysite.com syntax and does not seem to work when I give it a file name.

Background:

The customer needs to present a static html on his server as the target for Webcontent portlet, than a www.mysite.com web page.

Environment:

UIM UMP Webcontent Portlet

Instructions:

Store the HTML file e.g., "Sample HTML File" in /wasp/webapps/ROOT/html on the UMP machine.

Once you have added a page and the WebContent portlet, please click the wrench icon to open the Configuration window.

Please select the check box for-> "Relative to Context Path"

Specify the relative path, e.g.,

/html/Sample HTML File.html

Please note that I have specified the file extension as .html

Click Save and you will see the static locally stored web content rendered.
