CA WAAE R11.3.5 INCREMENTAL 2 patch has to be installed first:

To retrieve a log file from an I5 job, first specify
"autosyslog -J jobname -z" to return a list of log names and numbers, then use
"autosyslog -J jobname -d log_name:log_num" to retrieve the specified log.

The autosyslog command options have been updated to correctly show how to use the -d and -z options to retrieve log files from I5 jobs.

The usage of the -d and -z options are updated as follows:

 autosyslog        [-d {dataset_name | log_name:log_num}]  [-e [-l num_lines] [-p regex]] [-s] [-j job_name [-r run_num -n retry_num |-t {A|P|O|E|S} [-z]] [-x] -d {dataset_name | log_name:log_num}

Displays the contents of a z/OS job log dataset or an i5/OS

log name (specified with the log number as
log_name:log_num).

Note: To obtain a list of z/OS dataset names or i5/OS log
names for a job, use the -j parameter with the -Z option.

-z
Displays a list of available z/OS job log types and dataset
names or i5/OS log names and numbers.
