Users are scheduling jaspersoft reports on monthly basis. They started receiving 2 reports for a single schedule instance. They started getting 2 reports since last month. Why is this happening?
After inspecting email headers for duplicate reports we identified that they came in from 2 different servers. Those 2 servers mapped to Production and Non Production instance of Jaspersoft so we had to stop scheduled instances from Non Production environment.
To identify from which server email originated from you should do following:
1. Open email and go to File.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Copy the contents of Internet headers to Notepad so you can inspect it accordingly.
4. Search for Received: from to identify the server that this email originated from.
