Introduction:

How to Manage User Accounts in CA_eHealth.

Environment:
eHealth 6.2.2 onward.Applies to all Operating Systems.
Instructions:

You can use the nhManageUsers command to change user passwords and privileges, add new users, and to list users and their privileges. Below table provides the syntax you can use with the command.

Adding users

nhManageUsers -add -user <user name> -priv [admin | readOnly]

Deleting users

nhManageUsers -delete -user <user name>

Listing user passwords

nhManageUsers -showPass -user <user name>

Modifying user passwords

nhManageUsers -modPass -user <user name>

Listing all users and their privileges

nhManageUsers -list

Listing user privileges for a single user

nhManageUsers -showPriv -user <user name>

Modifying user privileges

nhManageUsers -modPriv -user <user name> -priv [admin | readOnly]

Modifying the salt value

nhManageUsers -passPhrase

Modifying the password for listener

nhManageUsers -modPass -listener

Additional Information:

To change a user password:

1.Log in as a user with admin privileges.

2.Change the password by entering the following:

nhManageUsers -modPass -u user

3.At the prompts, supply the old password and the new password; then verify the new password.
