User Access Rights Detail and User License and Activity Details reports fail with error "Unable to get next record"

Problem:

The Jaspersoft 'User Access Rights Detail' and 'User License and Activity Details' reports fail with the following error:

The server has encountered an error.  Please excuse the inconvenience

Steps to Reproduce:

1.User Access Right Detail report. 

a.Navigate to "Advances Reporting" link 

b.Click on the "View List" link on the Reports section. 

c.From the report list section, click on the name of the report "User Access Right Detail". 

d.The report window will open with "Please wait" dialog at the center of the screen, after 6-7 mins or more, the report will throw error "Unable to get next record". 

 

2.User License and Activity Details report. 

a.Navigate to "Advances Reporting" link 

b.Click on the "View List" link on the Reports section. 

c.From the report list section, click on the name of the report "User License and Activity Details". 

d.The report window will open, asking for the filter to condition. 

e.Select the OBS Type as "Resource OBS", enter the Resource OBS in the next field, select a "Resource" and click on the apply button 

f."Please wait" dialog will appear at the center of the screen, after 6-7 mins or more, the report will throw error "Error filling report". 

 

Expected Result:  The report should run.

Actual Result: The report fails with error "Unable to get next record".

Environment:   

Applies to all supported PAS environments for CA PPM 14.2.

Cause:

Caused by CLRT-77584

Resolution:

This has been resolved in 14.3 and later releases.
