Description:

For sites that are using a customized SUBSCHEMA-CTRL these new fields may present an issue with their customized redefined fields.

Solution:

These new items in R1DBMSCOM are redefines used only in the new versions of IDMS-STATUS. The new formatting in IDMS-STATUS is done using call to IDMSIN01 function and these fields serve only as work fields. There is no information which would be needed anywhere else.

If the customer wants to use the new IDMS-STATUS (versions 11, 13 and 14) then these fields are required.

These new field are related to RO60740. The HOLDDATA says this: The source will be in the SMP/E CAGJSRC library. Please note that this PTF delivers the new IDMS-STATUS as versions 11, 13 and 14 for COBOL (for various modes) and as version 11 for PL/1. These new versions can be dropped if needed which would cause the original IDMS-STATUS to be expanded in the application program.
