Open a cmd prompt and assuming you are logged in as the Application Administrator, run:
- secons -s -> this should kill all core CA PIM endpoint services. If it does not, please defer to the below steps.
- secons -sc -> kill any processes associated with the output.
- SEOS_load -u -> this should unload our kernel module from the machine.
- seosd -start -> the seload utility loads the CA PIM extension to the UNIX kernel and starts the CA PIM daemons.
You can also stop these Windows drivers associated with CA PIM endpoints.
- net stop seosdrv
- net stop cainstrm
If stopping CA PIM and unloading the kernel module still fails, the server needs to be rebooted.
