When starting CA Output Management Web Services 2.0, the following message is displayed: CAS9180E - CPU 164E77 REQUIRES A LMP KEY TO RUN PROD (28). Code 28 is not in the list of valid LMP Keys. Is code 28 for CA OM Web Services or it is different product?
Web Services 1.0 originally had an LMP KEY 28, but the requirement for it was removed with APAR QO90412 DELETE LICENSE REQUIREMENT. This apar was not included in Web Services 2.0, even though the LMP KEY is not needed
LMP Code 28 is not a valid code. Web Services does not require a license or an LMP KEY. Cumulative Build 7 of OM Web Services 2.0 resolves this problem. Backup your Configuration files before deploying the ear file.
This apar is still in test status. This article will be updated with the published solution number when published. In the meantime to obtain this test fix, please contact CA Support.
