Once the Nimsoft/UIM integration is enabled you may see the following event on the model where the snmpgtw probe is running:
Unknown alert received from device XXXXXXX of type NimsoftHostServer. Device Time 0+00:00:00. (Trap type 220.127.116.11.4.1.4055.1.6.4)
Unknown alert received from device XXXXXXX of type NimsoftVMPingable . Device Time 0+00:00:00. (Trap type 18.104.22.168.4.1.4055.1.6.4)
When the Spectrum receives the traps from the snmpgtw probe, the traps are forwarded to both models, because the EventAdmin and NimsoftHostServer/NimsoftVMPingable models have the same IP address.
As the NimsoftHostServer/NimsoftVMPingable model does not have the Southbound Gateway functionality, the 0x10801 event is generated (Unknown alert received from device)
Set Yes to the “Disable Trap-Based Events” option under ‘CA Spectrum Modeling Information’ subview of NimsoftHost/NimsoftVMPingable model.
