Question:

How to uninstall Robot on Linux servers/environment.

Environment:

Robot Version : 7.8

 Answer:

> Stop the processes using "sudo ./niminit stop" (sudo is not required if you login with root)

> Verify/confirm that there is no other process running (ps -eaf | grep -i nim)

Example: ./nimbus /opt/nimsoft

               nimbus(controller)

               nimbus(spooler)

               nimbus(hdb)

> Remove the directory using "sudo rm -rf /opt/nimsoft" (you can choose the location if you installed elsewhere)

> Verify whether it is removed from IM or not. If not removed, you can delete it manually.

 Additional Information:

Please note that, in case if any of the probe processes are running (installed as part of that particular robot) robot may not able to delete from IM. We need to specifically delete manually.
