The commands unifstat/ustat, on UX platforms are symbolic links to the $CASHCOMP/csutils/bin/casrvc binary.
The casrvc file should have the following permissions:
And be owned by root
The files in $CASHCOMP/bin should all, also be owned by root with 777 permissions.
We would recommend you try using operating system tools to trace what the command is doing and see where it is having issues (unless permissions above were the issue).
For example, as root:
on linux : "strace -o /tmp/foo.out ustat"
on solaris/AIX : "truss -aef -o /tmp/foo.out ustat"
on HP : "tusc -o /tmp/foo.out ustat"
You can compare the output with a working system or send it in to us for our review.
Additionally please provide, when run as root:
ls -al /proc
ls -al /etc/init.d
grep "Provides" /etc/init.d
And provide the files:
