Unable to submit Job if HOST field of Attribute tab contains <Generic> instead of Agent Name

If a valid 'Host' name is not selected in the Attributes tab in an Agent panel, such as in the PeopleSoft Agent panel, job's cannot be submitted and a Java exception error is displayed similar to the errors listed below.

Root Cause: All Agent Panels (including PeopleSoft panels) in AWI will only work if; (a) the Java based PS Agent is connected to AE, (b) a valid Agent name is selected in the Job's Attributes.

Select a valid Agent name in the Job's Attributes.
