Issue:

Software gateway won't start after jdk update

Resolution:

when you try to run /opt/SecureSpan/Gateway/runtime/bin/setup.sh you would the error similar to below

The JDK you have specified (/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.131-3.b12.el7_3.x86_64/jre) does not exist.

1. vi /opt/SecureSpan/Controller/etc/host.properties

2. Replace Host.jre= value with /usr/java/jdk<version>/jre

3. vi /opt/SecureSpan/Gateway/node/default/etc/conf/node.properties

4. Replace node.java.path= value with /usr/java/jdk<version>/jre
