Unable to Start Gateway Node of CA Policy Manager

Issue:
While trying two sync two Gateway nodes, one of the nodes went down and did not come back up after a restart.
Resolution:
The ownership of the /var/logs directory got changed to another user. After issuing the command chown gateway:gateway on logs in that directory, the ssg service started up.
