We are planning to upgrade Service Desk Manager (SDM) from r14.1 to r17.1 and reviewing The SDM r17.1 document. It says the following as Knowledge Management Considerations.
For customers upgrading from a previous release of CA SDM with FAST ESP search engine, you must change to the EBR search engine. The FAST ESP license expired in May 2013. To change to the EBR search engine, navigate to CA SDM Options Manager, Search Engine and edit ebr_version to specify KT Search Engine. I cannot find the Options Manager > Search Engine. Can I ignore the change of the setting?
However the option "ebr_versio" does not seem to exist under the Options Manager in SDM r14.1. Where can we change the setting from?
