ISSUE:

During polling, a device returns the error: "Unable to find response OID in request OidDict list"

 

ENVIRONMENT:

 

CA eHealth

 

SYMPTOMS:

 

Unable to find response OID 'xxxxxxxxxx' in request OidDict list (poll dropped for '<element_name>')

 

CAUSE:

 

What is happening is that eHealth is asking for the value of certain OIDs and the response includes an OID we did not request. Below is an example of a Request and Response taken from SNMP advanced logging:

The result is the error/warning messages: "Unable to find response OID 'xxxxxxxxxx' in request OidDict list"

 

 RESOLUTION:


This is a device MIB problem which you will need to contact the vendor about for resolution.
