Unable to deploy a device pack

Issue:

When attempting to deploy a device pack from the Mediation Manager UI the following error is seen: "<server name>:8181 is not reachable or Data Source is not added to PC"

Environment:
CAPM 3.1Mediation Manager 3.1
Cause:

In this instance Mediation Manager was integrated with CAPM.  When setting up the integration with CAPM and Mediation Manager a bad password was used for the CAPM password

Resolution:

Simply correct the password by doing the following:

  1. Log into the Mediation Manager UI
  2. In the upper right hand corner Click on the CA Performance Management link
  3. In the "Environment Modification" box type in the correct password and hit the "Update" button

You should now be able to successfully deploy device packs
