Problem:

When trying to delete a machine you get an error :

Unable to delete agent record from CA Client Automation DSM Explorer .

 

Environment:  

CA Client Automation - All Versions

 

Cause: 

The error is a Permissions issue on the object for the user/users trying to do the delete of the object from the DSM Explorer.

 

Resolution:

1. Under "All computers", Right-click on one of machines you could not delete ->  Select "Permissions"

 2. Check the box "display built-in certificate-based profiles"

3.Select the line < x509cert://dsm r11/cn=dsm r11 software delivery catalog... > and in the listbox select < Full Control >

4. click OK and you should not get the Error again.
