For some reason we are unable to add a new custom-defined attribute to the Data Warehouse in our Training instance despite having been able to add the same attribute in our Development and Production instances. This is not a new attribute - so it is defined exactly the same in all three instances. We recently refreshed our Training instance with Production data by restoring both the niku and datawarehouse databases and wondered if this could be the cause?
When setting flag for "Include in the Data Warehouse" for attribute it is updating views internally and the niku id did not have appropriate rights to do so post refresh from Production environment.
After reviewing app logs we could see that we had an issue whereby the database user used by the application had not been given the appropriate access rights to a CMS database to log DB changes. Providing that access fixed the issue.
