Best practice tips on how to use 'add existing fields' and when to use the magnifying glass inside a configuration forms 'blue box' to configure searches.

To add a new field (that already exists in the system) to an asset global configuration, use the 'add existing fields' link and select the appropriate existing field.
For example, if you want to add additional contact fields, then select 'add existing fields' link, then select 'Contact' and locate the specific field.
To configure the search fields that appear in the blue boxes on a global configuration, use the magnifying glass icon in the blue box field.
New search fields will appear on the objects 'select' list.
