Unable to access eHealth OneClick or Web UI

Document ID : KB000031348
Last Modified Date : 14/02/2018
Show Technical Document Details

Symptoms:

Unable to access eHealth web UI or OneClick. Web UI redirects to standard Apache page.

Environment:

eHealth 6.2.2 through 6.3.2.0X

UNIX

Cause:

Check to make sure that an OS patch did not update Apache.  If the OS patch updated Apache, it will override eHealth's httpd file located in /etc/init.d/httpd.  The eHealth httpd file will include eHealth type variables such as the ones shown below, whereas the default Apache httpd file will not.

NH_HOME="/opt/ehealth"; export NH_HOME
LM_LICENSE_FILE="/opt/ehealth/lmgr/license.dat"; export LM_LICENSE_FILE
NH_DATE_FMT="MDY"; export NH_DATE_FMT
NH_HOME="/opt/ehealth"; export NH_HOME
NH_USER="ehealth"; export NH_USER
NH_WWW_DIR="/opt/ehealth/web"; export NH_WWW_DIR

Resolution:
The following steps may require reaching out to your system admin for assistance.
Run the following to see if there is a backup of the original/eHealth httpd.

cd /etc/init.d/
ls -la |grep httpd

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3523 Aug 14 2013 httpd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 5942 Jun 24 17:50 httpd.rpmsave
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 Jun 24 17:50 httpd.sh -> /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd

Once you find the backup you must stop eHealth httpd/tomcat, then replace the file and start httpd.

/etc/init.d/httpd stop
mv /etc/init.d/httpd /etc/init.d/httpd.OSPatch
cp /etc/init.d/httpd.rpmsave /etc/init.d/httpd
/etc/init.d/httpd start
