Introduction:
- To see the problem first hand use the following parameters in USM\preferences\option\view options and paste it. Also select Alarm from the view drop down on the same page.

{'minimal':1,'subView':'table','hideSummaryChart':0,'chartCategory':'custom_1','filterName':'/public/Operators','columns':['hostname','message','count','time_origin','time_last','subsystem','custom_2','custom_1','custom_4','started'],'sort':'duration'}

- Now return to full page and it'll load custom alarm view and look at the started column, you'll notice the old alarm's are at the top. This is default behavior client would like to change and make the newer alarm to show at the top.

Question:
I have created a custom alarm view from UMP\preferences\options, by default the duration (started column on the view) shows the older alert at the top. is there a way to make the newest alarm to show up at the top by default?
Answer:
It is working as designed. You can click on the Started column to sort the alert in ascending/descending order
