UIM install with an Oracle database fails with impl.UIMServerDBSchemaController 132 NimException caught

Issue:

UIM install using Oracle as the back-end database fails with the following error in the uimserver_install.log.

Database Schema Configuration

Environment:
UIM 8.X with Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit Production
Cause:

The designated db user that creates the UIM instance does not meet all of the privileges per the UIM install guide:

Resolution:

Grant the permission below to the designated UIM oracle db user and rerun the installer

GRANT SELECT ON V_$SESSION TO CAUIM
