UI takes long time to load large number of account

Summary:

There could be possible performance issue when there are large number of account needed to be loaded.
You can limit the users to be loaded automatically when you browse ENTM pages.

Instructions:

# How to adjust number of account loaded

1: Open ID manager console

http://server:port/idmmanage

For example : http://servername:18080/idmmanage/

(Please review the link if CA Identity Manager Management Console is not enabled to access)

2: Environments->ac-env->Advanced

 Settings->Miscellaneous->MyAccountsSearchSizeLimit

 Please set the value. (default value is 100)

3: Save and restart

4: Stop jboss and remove tmp and work folder

  (On Windows jboss_home\server\default\tmp and jboss_home\server\default\work

For example ; C:\jboss-4.2.3.GA\server\default\tmp & C:\jboss-4.2.3.GA\server\default\work

  On Unix/Linux jboss_home\server\default\tmp and jboss_home\server\default\work

For example ; /opt/jboss-4.2.3.GA/server/default/tmp & /opt/jboss-4.2.3.GA/server/default/work

 

The above are the folders to delete.

They contain cache information so need to be deleted when making a change like this.

Note that this may cause jboss to take longer to start properly, but this should only happen once as the cache is being rebuilt. Next starts should be faster.)

5: Start jboss

 

Also you can disable automatic loading user accounts.

You can still search manually.

 

# How to disable account loaded

1: Open ID manager console
