U0038140 Action not possible. Different Operations Manager Systems were started with this database.
Resolution:
Detailed Description and Symptoms

When attempting to run the UC4.DB Load, receiving the error message:

U0038140 Action not possible. Different Operations Manager Systems were started with this database. Please check your database und try again.

Solution
This error occurs when a system has been started with multiple names in the past. This is a check that was started with 8.00A and did not occur in earlier versions of Automic.

There are two options to resolve this:

Option 1: Before upgrading, go to the old system, then to Client 0.  Open the <No Folder> and delete any server processes that start with the unused system name(s) and delete them.  The naming convention for these is like below:

<system name>#CPxxx
<system name>#WPxxx

where <system name> is the unused system name and xxx is the WP or CP number

Option 2: If Option 1 is not an available option, the following SQL statement can be run against the database prior to running the UC4.DB Load:

update oh set oh_deleteflag = 1 where oh_otype = 'SERV' and oh_deleteflag = 0

Once the UC4.DB Load is run, the following SQL statement needs to be run against the database:

update oh set oh_deleteflag = 0 where oh_otype = 'SERV'

Once the Automic System is up and running, follow the instructions from option 1 above to remove the non-used server processes from the system so that this issue does not come up again.
