Issue:
TSSXTEND
How do we manually correct something that is correctly defined already?

We are trying to clear up pointer problems on our security file because we will be loading it into a database for Compliance and Event Manager reporting.

1. After running a TSSXTEND WHOHAS there are still pointers which are listed at the end of the TSSXTEND report.

2. User DISSMAL is experiencing the problem. TSSFAR and the TSSXTEND shows that there are broken pointers.
Environment:
z/os
Cause:
After running a TSSXTEND WHOHAS there are still pointers which are listed at the end of the TSSXTEND report.

TSSFAR and the TSSXTEND shows that there are broken pointers.
Resolution:
It has been determined that TSSXTEND WHOHAS does have limitations when correcting pointer issues. For those entries that cannot be repaired will be reported in the TSSXTEND WHOHAS output. If the problem is for a resource, the resource should be removed from the acid. You have the option to move it to a different acid or move it temporarily to a different acid and put it back.
