When audit files are allocated on EAV disks with the extended attributes, TSSUTIL fails with an U1692 abend because it can't open those files.
CA Top Secret does not currently support EAV (Extended Access Volumes) DASD devices for use with the CA Top Secret security and audit files.
Please keep in mind that the various other related CA Top Secret datasets can reside on EAV volumes, but cannot exploit the EAV extended addressing space (EAS).
An enhancement request already exists for this support. There is no current ETA on when this enhancement will be done.
