Question:

When issuing "TSS MODIFY(STATUS)", there is a control option displayed twice with two different values:

ETROPTS(NONE)
ETROPTS(USS(*NO USS OPTS*))

Answer:

These are not duplicates. The ETROPTS(USS(...)) line shows what ETROPTS USS settings, if any, are in effect. The possible settings
for these are documented in chapter 2 of the CA Top Secret 12.0 Control Options Guide, section titled "ETROPTS-Events Sent", subsection titled "USS". If none of these are set, ETROPTS(USS(*NO USS OPTS*)) is displayed.

The ETROPTS(...) line shows the other ETROPTS settings, if any, that are in effect. These are documented in chapter 2 of the CA Top Secret 12.0 Control Options Guide, section titled
"ETROPTS-Events Sent".

Additional Information:

Please see the CA Top Secret Control Options Guide for more information on the ETROPTS control option.
