Question:

Why does the TSS MODIFY STATUS display AES_ENCRYPTION(Active) and not AES_ENCRYPTION(Active,128) per the CA Top Secret r16 documentation.

Answer:

CA Top Secret r15 will only show AES_ENCRYPTION(Active) since it doesn't support AES 256 encryption.

CA Top Secret r16 will show AES_ENCRYPTION(Active,nnn) where nnn is 128 or 256. CA Top Secret r16 supports both AES 128 and AES 256.
