Question:

How can I configure xFlow so the attachments are not going to the default repository "servicedesk" ? There is no option to pick a repository for attachments added through xFlow interface,

Answer:

For 14.1.03, the default repository is "servicedesk" for attachments via xFlow.

However, the xFlow website's <website_directory>\\conf\casm.conf.js can be modified to have a reference to a custom repository id instead.

1) If IIS is being used for xFlow - identify the casm.conf.js file from xFlow website's <website_directory>\conf\casm.conf.js directory. Default location is: C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\UI\IISWebsite\conf

NOTE: If you are using  Apache web server for xFlow, the file is different. C:\Program Files\CA\xFlow\APPS\UI\Apache24\htdocs\conf\casm.conf.do-not-change.js

2) Take a backup of that file first

3) Edit the file casm.conf.js and add a new entry  (NOTE:  If you are using Apache web server for xFlow, the file is casm.conf.do-not-change.js and follow below steps in that file)

a) adding a new entry under the config section to override the default repository  example:  attachments : { repository : "doc_rep:1002" }

config: {
attachments : {
repository : 'doc_rep:40001'

},

Note: doc_rep:40001  is the Repository's id from doc_rep  table.

b) restart xFlow to make the change effective.
