The userid does not appear in the upper right corner after logging in Jaspersoft

Issue:

The userid and the logout button does not appear in the upper right corner for some users, after login in Jaspersoft.

Environment:
Service Desk Manager 14.1 CUM3 with CABI Jaspersoft 6.2
Cause:

The role anonymous was added to the user(s). This role is meant for access to reports without requiring a login, and so a logout would not be needed for that user either. This means when viewing the JasperServer web application UI, there will be no logout button or userid.

Resolution:

Remove the role anonymous for each of the users that had this role assigned if it is not required.

1. Log in Jaspersoft with an administrator account, then go to manage->users.
2. Select and edit the users required and remove the role anonymous, then click on save and test again.
