:tngwriter but its not in topology" is updated to stdlog" />

Description:

When the SDM service starts, the following error message appears. What is the root cause?

01/23 15:58:35.79 <hostname> ehc_nxd 3940 ERROR topomap.c 1010 Received Daemon Started Message from <IP Address>:tngwriter but its not in topology

Solution:

The IP address of the SDM box may have changed. The content of the topology.cfg in the $NX_ROOT\site\eh folder should be as follows. This error occurs when the IP address in the topology.cfg is incorrect. After modifying the incorrect IP address, it is necessary to restart the SDM service.

topology.cfg
# <remote_node>:uniconv uniconvert <IP_ADDR_tngfilter>:tngfilter uni
<IP_ADDR_tngcnv>:tngcnv tngcnv <IP_ADDR_tngfilter>:tngfilter tng
<IP_ADDR_tngfilter>:tngfilter filter_nxd <IP_ADDR_tngwriter>:tngwriter -
<IP_ADDR_tngwriter>:tngwriter ehwriter - -

where:
<IP_ADDR_tngcnv> - The IP Address of the server that is running the CA NSM Event Converter process.
<IP_ADDR_tngfilter> - The IP Address of the server that is running CA Service Desk Manager.
<IP_ADDR_tngwriter> - The IP Address of the server that is running CA Service Desk Manager.
