Question:

The Eclipse Foundation's Eclipse SDK must be installed on each client computer where the Eclipse-Based UI is to be installed. How to download and install Eclipse SDK?

Answer:

Eclipse is an open source software. You can download it from Eclipse download link. Download either 32 bit or 64-bit Eclipse based on your OS version. The Eclipse-Based UI is compatible with release 4.3 and above of the Eclipse Foundation's Eclipse SDK.

The following example shows a file named eclipse-jee-XXXX-XX-win32-x86_64.zip (the 64-bit Eclipse IDE for Java EE Developers) is saved to default download directory:

Just extract the zip file to a directory:

Eclipse does not include a Java Runtime Environment (JRE). For the proper version of the JRE or Java Development Kit (JDK) that must be installed on your machine to run Eclipse, go to: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Eclipse_FAQs

You can download Java (do not use Google Chrome) from this site: https://www.java.com/en/download/

Once Java is installed, just click eclipse.exe to launch the Eclipse, you can use the default directory as your workspace.
