When our Teleview was started after IPL yesterday abended with a dump.

Solution:

The A54 message points to VTAM as the culprit: A54 5:11:03.88 VTAM TPEND ENTERED: REASON CODE 4 (HALT,QUICK/ACB INACT)

This is most likely a timing issue during post-IPL startup. For example, Teleview came up prior to TCPIP.

Try starting Teleview again.

If you still have trouble, check the SYSLOG and verify that TCPIP is available before Teleview is started.
