When adding users, the "Confirm Your Account" link uses a URL with the HOSTNAME of the TDM Portal server. Some users in the environment can't resolve the short hostname, and require the Fully Qualified Domain Name for the link to load successfully. How can Portal be configured to send the FQDN in the Portal Registration e-mail?

Sample e-mail message:

Sample URL:
https://tdmportal:8443/TestDataManager/resetPassword.html#/resetPassword/[LONG STRING]
  1. Stop the TDM Portal Service
  2. Open C:\Program Files\CA\CA Test Data Manager Portal\conf\ in a text editor
  3. Do a find and replace.
    Find: [HOSTNAME] Replace: [FQDN]
    Example: Find: tdmportal  Replace:
  4. Save the file
  5. Start the TDM Portal service
New registation e-mails should now include a link to Portal using the FQDN:[LONG STRING]
