The issue is with respect to Task search on Timesheet screen, one of our Business Units is experiencing slowness with entering timesheets since the switch to the SaaS environment. It takes more than 20 minutes to look up a Task using Task ID.
The customer reporting this issue has 1000's of unassigned tasks (for that user) and an extremely large dataset.
Task filtering on timesheets takes longer when grouping by "Task Hierarchy" and "Show Task" set to "ALL".
Task Status can be set to any value.
The filtering scenarios which are taking more than 20 minutes time for their execution.
- Group By = Task Hierarchy ; Show Tasks=All; Task Status=All
- Group By = Task Hierarchy ; Show Tasks=All; Task Status=Open
- Group By = Task Hierarchy ; Show Tasks=All; Task Status=Completed
- Group By = None; any time Show Tasks attribute is set to 'All' or 'Not Assigned' and the investment has a significant number of tasks, the time to return results is very slow.
Caused by CLRT-73984 which is closed and marked as a duplicate to CLRT-77603
Under a related issue, CLRT-73534, a fix was given for timesheet add task filtering.
After the fix for CLRT-73534, there are some scenarios for which the issue still exists (filtering of tasks take more than 20 minutes).
This issue CLRT-77603 is raised for fixing these scenarios.

Have users set Show Tasks = Assigned when filtering for tasks to add to the Timesheet.
