The error is the result of )REINIT statements in the ISR@PRIM panel in use at Caterpillar. The error is not as a result of anything that SYSVIEW is doing.
We had suggested taking out the )REINIT section of the panel definition
use TSO SYSVIEW if you want to be able to split screen from a SYSVIEW session.
We need to be careful here. The )REINIT section of the ISR@PRIM panel in use at Caterpillar is what is distributed by IBM. It is NOT something that Caterpillar has specifically done.
To use split/swap screen functionality in all its glory from a SYSVIEW session, the ISPF interface is the way to go.
