It has been noted in the early 5.7.1 /  5.8 versions after some period of time you may experience a hang on LINUX and LINUX derivatives where CA SystemEDGE takes high CPU utilization as well. In strace of the hung pid you will notice

A loop of,

write(3, "2856539 2014-06-10 12:11:13.04 ["..., 149) = 149

read(12, 0xf77e6000, 1024)              = -1 ESRCH (No such process)

(note the ESRCH No Such Process)

Many times the sysedge log will have,

se/os_process.c[2405]      : get_proc_io_stats(): Could not parse line, got -1 tokens. Skipping.

This problem has been corrected and is addressed by the current versions and highest cumulative. So simply upgrading to SystemEDGE 5.8.2 or greater should address this previously noted problem.
