Issue:

Sometimes when the Agent starts, the Collector refuses to start because the maximum number of domains has been reached.

The following message appears in the logs of the Collector <sysload>\sldrmd\sldrmd.log

DD MM HH:MM:SS YYYY: coll - fnBuildTabCom - Too many domains psCom->Igen.sNb_dom(5759) >= g_nMaxDom(4000)

Environment:
Sysload Agents
Cause:
The Max_Dom parameter specifies the maximum number of domains collected. This parameter allows the agent to pre-allocate memory space for real-time collection.

This means that 5759 domains will actually be collected by the agent. But Max_dom is set to 4000 by default. You must increase the value of Max_Dom, parameter.
Resolution:
The solution is to set the Max_Dom parameter to the appropriate value in the Collector configuration file as below:
[PARAM]
Max_Dom=6000
#Maximum number of metrics that Collector can manage
#Format               : Integer on 5 digits
#Optional/Mandatory   : Optional
#Value set to "4000" by the program if not set in the configuration file
#This parameter is actually an orphan parameter (does not belong to any particular section)
#Console labels (EN)   : Section [General]"Maximum number of domains"

Restart the agent to take in account the new parameter.
