Issue:
The MICS PRIM DAILY job failed in step DAY030, this past weekend.

All other MICS daily jobs worked OK.

Fail statement in SASLOG DAY030 file:

INPUT statement exceeded record length. INFILE DSS.PRIM.MICS6.SMF.DATA OPTION STOPOVER specified.


 
Resolution:
Apply SMF7002, available in PTF SO05905 .

The job output shows a U0999 abend; 
EF450I DSS05D MICS DAY030 - ABEND=S000 U0999 REASON=00000000 


You need SMF7002 that is available in
PTF SO05905.

As documented in the associated problem record: 

After applying SMF6995, the DAY030 or INCR030 step might fail with a 
U0999 STOPOVER ABEND due to an attempt to read beyond the end of a SMF type 90 subtype 36 record. 

DAY030 or INCR030 job fails with a U0999 ABEND with the following message in the SASLOG: 

ERROR: INPUT statement exceeded record length. 
INFILE data.set.name OPTION STOPOVER specified.
