SSH with KeyFile based discovery in a distributed environment may fail and produce this error:

CCA-DIS-8547: Component discovery failed on Server, Component root "/" and blueprint name,
Error message = java.io.FileNotFoundException: <PATH>key.ppk
(The system cannot find the path specified). Error Discovery Server.

Example of a distributed environment:

Server 1 : CCA Server with NDG
Server 2 : NDG
Server 3 : NDG
Server 4 : NDG
etc

Solution:

If this option is used in a distributed environment then this extra setup is required.

On all NDG servers create the exact path name and copy the .ppk file into it.

For example the CCA Server folder will not exist so must be created.

C:\Program Files\CA\CCA Server\private_key.ppk

The private key must be copied to the CCA Server home directory.

The path must be the same on all servers.
