SPM IP SLA tests fail on Cisco firmware version 15.3

Spectrum Performance Manager (SPM) IP SLA tests will not execute successfully on test hosts which have Cisco firmware version 15.3 installed.  This is because Spectrum attempts to update the test hosts MIB and set the OID rttMonEchoAdminPktDataRspSize (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.42.1.2.2.1.4) to a value of 40.  This OID is no longer present with the 15.3 firmware which results in the test failing.

Customer description of problem scenario:
Recently, our partners have upgraded their IPSLA probes from
c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.150-1.M3.bin to
c3900-universalk9-mz.SPA.153-3.M2.bin and all of our SPM tests started
failing. I looked at the events of one of the failed tests and it said
"interface table missing".

We have since had them roll back the iOS to the previous version and
everything is working now, but they are in need of upgrading since that
version is end of support soon.

Solution:

Spectrum will not set the rttMonEchoAdminPktDataResponseSize attribute as it is not used.

CA has created debug test fix Spectrum_09.02.02.D720 to address this situation on Spectrum release 9.2.3 H11.

This fix is included directly into Spectrum 9.4.  There is no fix available for Spectrum 9.3* releases.  It is recommended customers upgrade to the Spectrum 9.4* releases to get this fix.
