Spectrum WebClient does not display any data

Symptoms: 

Normal users with OperatorRO privilege don't see any data in the WebClient but they are able to open OC console and see the alarms.

 

Environment:  

Any

Cause: 

Web client is designed to work based on model security for the logged in user and if the user security string does not match the one of the security communities WebClient will not display any data.

 

Resolution/Workaround:

User security string should match one of the security communities otherwise web Client will not have access to attributes present on the user model that are required to read/write user specific setting (preferences) in web client.
