Customer experienced a crash of the SecureDomainConnector Process. There were core dumps generated.
As the back trace of the core dump gives the idea that the SDC processed traps when it crashed, it is suspected that there is a bug in the trap processing engine, which causes the crash.
Patch "Spectrum_10.02.03.D431a" with a potential fix was provided to solve the SDC crashes.

Restart of Secondary SS is cleaning up the SNMPv3 profile data at SDC and at the same time SDC tries to use the profile data to process the Traps, which is leading to v3 profile corruption, and hence causing the SDC crash.

With D431a fix we don't clear the Profile data at SDC with every restart of Secondary SS, until unless there’s is a change in the profile data pushed by either Primary/Secondary SS’es. Hence there won't be any Profile data corruption and hence the SDC crash would not occur.
Additional Information:
D431a is based on D431, only a debug enabled. It is planned to get D431 into Spectrum 10.3.1
