Spectrum Report Manager only showing the Response Time folder of reports

ISSUE:  Spectrum Report Manager (SRM) only showing the Response Time folder of reports when launching the the BI Launch Pad

CAUSE:  Left over jar files after an upgrade to Spectrum 10.01.01.00

 

RESOLUTION:  Please do the following on the Spectrum Report Manager (SRM) system to resolve this issue:

1. Log into the SRM system as the user that owns the Spectrum installation

2. Remove the following files from the $SPECROOT/tomcat/lib directory:

asapp.jar 

rascore.jar 

Serialization.jar

3. Reload the Content:

    a. Log into the SRM OneClick web page as an ADMIN user

    b. Click on the Administration -> Report Manager -> Manage Business Objects Content link and click on the Update Content button

4. Restart tomcat on the SRM system

5. Log into the SRM OneClick web page as an ADMIN user

6. Click on the Administration -> Report Manager -> Business Objects Integration link 

    a. Disable the BO Integration and click on the Save button

    b. Enable the BO Integration and click on the Save button
