The following error is seen in the $SPECROOT/SS/RCPD.OUT file on the Secondary SpectroSERVER system:

Jan 13 08:22:53 : rcpd started

command: RECV
   file: .ft_save_file.SSdb
   rcpd: 0x0

Jan 13 08:25:53 : Waited for 3 minutes but did not accept a connection from
the primary rcpd.

Solution:

The root cause is a comment entry in the $SPECROOT/SS/.vnmrc file above the "rcpd_comm_port=0xCAFE" entry on either or both the Primary and/or Secondary SpectroSERVER systems.

The solution is to look for and remove any entry in the .vnmrc files on the Primary and Secondary SpectroSERVER systems above the "rcpd_comm_port=0xCAFE" entry that start with the pound "#" character and then restart the SpectroSERVER process for that change to the .vnmrc file to take effect.

Adding comments to the .vnmrc configuration file is not supported.
