Issue:

Spectrum MPLS Transport LSP discovery is not discovering LSPs for Cisco and Juniper devices.

Cause:

A change of mib support on the Juniper and Cisco devices.

The Juniper Networks enterprise-specific MPLS MIB, whose object identifier is {jnxMibs 2}, provides information about MPLS paths and defines MPLS notifications. The table mplsLspList and the sequence for mplsLspEntry have been deprecated and replaced by a new table mplsLspInfoList to extend support for LSP names longer than 32 characters.

For Cisco devices, Spectrum is reading the experimental deprecated MPLS-TE-MIB. Some Cisco devices are now using the MPLS-TE-std mib.

Resolution:

Spectrum has been updated to read the mplsLspInfoList for Juniper devices and the MPLS-TE-std mib for Cisco devices.

This fix is available in the 10.01.01.PTF_10.1.147 patch for Spectrum 10.1.1 and the 10.02.00_PTF_10.2.034 patch for Spectrum 10.2.0. The following are the release notes.

Symptom:  MPLS LSPs are not discovered for some Juniper and Cisco devices.

Resolution: RFC mib is supported in place of old mpls te draft mib. Juniper new mib table is supproted in place of deprecated mib table

This issue is also scheduled to be addressed in Spectrum 10.02.01.
