Issue:

The the CWRS-4150A-MIB mib contains 58 traps. After compiling in MIB Tools, only 52 traps were mapped. 6 traps were not mapped because of a syntax error yet no error was reported by MIB Tools. The error was some traps name started with upper case letters. According to the standards, trap names must start with a lower case letter.

Cause:

MIB Tools uses a third party tool called AdventNet for the compiling of the mibs. The MibModule object (which is defined in AdventNet) is getting created using the MIB (which we load) and from that object we are fetching and adding traps one by one. It is this MibModule object which is not processing traps which start with upper case.

Resolution:
This issue has been reported to AdventNet.
